Bronx man turns himself into NYPD in connection to Birmingham man’s death

BRONX, N.Y. (WIAT) — A man has turned himself into NYPD in connection to a fight that left a man from Birmingham dead this past weekend.

34-year-old Jimmy Rosario has been charged with third-degree assault and could face further charges after the Medical Examiner’s results are completed.

Troy Scott, 40, was killed after he was punched outside a New York restaurant. Scott, from Birmingham, was in New York celebrating his sister’s baby shower.

No other information has been released at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
