BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Blount County Schools are delayed two hours Thursday due to damage left behind from early morning storms.

According to a Facebook post from the Blount County School District, morning thunderstorms resulted in downed trees and power lines across the county.

Additionally, Oneonta City Schools are also delayed by two hours due to a power outage.
