BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Police Department has named a suspect in a murder case from Aug. 20.
Cordarius Williams, 28, is accused of fatally shooting 44-year-old Johnny Wayne Mann earlier this month in the 900 block of 24th Street South.
According to police, after investigating the case, they suspected Williams of the crime and found him in the Jefferson County Jail on an unrelated charge.
Williams remains in custody at the Jefferson County Jail.
