Police have taken a Birmingham man into custody after executing a search warrant at his house, according to a release from Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Carlos Dion Roscoe, 32, was taken into custody as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of narcotics in Jefferson County, according to the release.
Narcotics investigators searched Roscoe’s apartment at the 600 block of Earline Circle on Wednesday, and reportedly discovered Hydrocodone, ecstasy, alprazolam, marijuana, and cocaine. Investigators also reportedly seized seven handguns.
Dion was booked on charges of trafficking hydrocodone, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Dion is in the Jefferson County Jail with bond set at $109,600.
The case has also been referred to the ATF for possible federal firearms charges, according to the release.
