Birmingham Firefighters controlled an early morning house fire on Friday. 

Crews responded to the 1300 block of 24th Avenue North after a call came in around 1 a.m. of a house fire. When crews arrived, they saw heavy smoke showing from the roof. 

According to Chief Bearden with Birmingham FIre, the house is vacant. He says the fire appeared to start in the walls. There was no power to the house. 

No one was injured.

This fire is still under investigation.
