(WIAT) — We’ve all heard of the starving artist, but in this case, it may be better to talk about the freezing canvas.
That canvas is three women who were recently made-up in the buff to become part of an homage to Raphael’s Three Graces.
The three women bared all as they posed in cold weather with the Golden Gate Bridge in California. But, on this frigid day, the art came with a twist.
Trina Merry is famous for making her subjects blend with the background.
“It’s supposed to represent the cycle of a woman starting from a young nymph-like woman and then it cycles through the maturity of the woman,” said artist Trina Merry.
The trick, like in her other work, is finding the woman in the frame.
