ALABASTER, Ala. (WIAT) — A house in Alabaster was destroyed Monday afternoon in a fire, and half of it collapsed about 30 minutes into the Alabaster Fire Department responding to the blaze.

The home, located on Willow Creek Court, had a “catastrophic collapse,” about 30 minutes into the fire attack where about 50 percent of the home collapsed all the way into the yard, Alabaster Fire Chief Tim Love told CBS 42 reporter Michael Clark on the CBS 42 News at 6.
