2 teens injured in suspicious fire, police say

Two 18-year-olds were injured in what Tuscaloosa Police are calling a suspicious fire Thursday morning. 

Sipsey Valley Volunteer Fire Department, along with Tuscaloosa County Sheriffs responded to the 10000 block of Sipsey Valley Road N around 4 a.m. on a call of a fire. When they arrived, they found the two teenagers at the residence. 

The teens were transported to UAB Hospital. At least one of the victims is in critical condition. 

Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crime Unit were called to the scene around 6 a.m. to investigate the suspicious fire.
