19-year-old arrested for domestic violence at Pizza Hut

BIBB COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A man is in jail on multiple charges including attempted murder and domestic violence after assaulting a woman at Pizza Hut in Brent, Ala.

Antonio Taylor, 19, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, domestic violence – strangulation, assault, kidnapping, aggravated animal cruelty, sodomy, sexual assault, manufacturing controlled substance and distribution of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

On September 11, Brent Police investigators responded to a call at Pizza Hut in reference to a female that had been assaulted.

Once police arrived, they met with the suspect, Taylor, in the lobby and the victim that locked herself in the bathroom. She was covered in bruises and had an apparent broken nose, Brent Police Department reports.

Taylor was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to Bibb County Jail. After interviewing the victim and securing a search warrant for Taylor’s residence and cell phone, Investigator Sievering found video evidence of domestic violence strangulation, attempted murder, assault, sexual assault, sodomy and aggravated animal cruelty.

During the search warrant at his residence, police found two marijuana plants growing in pts along with several drug paraphernalia items. Evidence of the assault and sexual assault were also collected, officials report.

Taylor is being held in Bibb County Jail with no bond.
