1 unit suffers fire damage and others smoke damage after Hoover apartment fire

HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) — CBS 42 Reporter Conan Gasque is on the scene of an apartment fire located on Crowne Fall Parkway off of Highway 150. 

One of the units was damaged by fire this morning, the call received at 4:12. The City of Hoover Fire Department arrived, discovering a fire in the attic space of the apartment. The people that lived in the unit were not there at the time of the fire. The building was evacuated and the fire was contained by 4:42. Only one unit had the fire damage, other units only suffered smoke damage. 

The Hoover fire department marshall is on the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
