CENTER POINT, Ala. (WIAT) — Center Point fire crews responded to an apartment fire Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters with the Center Point Fire District arrived at the Parkway Villa apartment complex on 14th Avenue NE and located a fire inside a bedroom in one of the units.
Crews were able to contain the fire to that one bedroom without it spreading to other units in the complex.
The fire has been extinguished and no injuries have been reported. Red Cross is assisting the family that was affected.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
