BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — 12/26- 10:00 a.m. UPDATE – A shooting outside of a gas station in Ensley on Christmas Day, leaves two people with life-threatening injuries.
According to Birmingham Police Sgt. Johnny Williams the shooting happened just before 6:00 p.m. outside of the Marathon gas station on Vinesville Road.
Police say when they arrived on the scene they found two unidentified men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to UAB hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No reports of any suspects at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation.
12/25 – 5:50 p.m. The Birmingham Police Department is on the scene in Ensley after one person was shot on Christmas Day.
The shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Vinesville Road.
The victim suffered undisclosed injuries and authorities are still on scene.
