Law enforcement asking for public’s help in solving Alabama murder case

(WHNT) — Alabama law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help in finding out more information about a man who was killed on Halloween night.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the State Bureau of Investigation began an investigation into the death of John Deviasi Baker, who was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head on Oct. 31.

Baker, who was also known as “Debo” or “Punky,” eventually succumbed to his injuries.

No other information was immediately available from state authorities.
