A Shelby County Grand Jury has indicted William Jeffrey West on a murder charge in the death of his wife, Kathleen ‘Kat’ West.

The indictment alleges West “did on or about January 12, 2018, intentionally cause the death of another person, to-wit: Kathleen Dawn West, by striking her with a glass bottle.”

According to court records, Jeff West was indicted on March 7, last Wednesday. He is set to be arraigned on May 14, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.
