DULUTH, Ga. (WRBL) — Police have arrested a former Auburn football receiver, accused of armed robbery at a Chinese restaurant.

Police have arrested 21-year-old Myron Burton Jr.

Police says an officer responded to an armed robbery call on Tuesday just before 5 p.m. at China Taste.

The police report says the owner said she was in the store around 3:40 p.m when “a younger clean-shaven black male hurriedly came into the store brandishing a black gun in his left hand.”

She says he came in demanding money and she feared for her safety.

She says she took out about $300 and handed it to the male, at which time he promptly fled the store on foot.

Burton was a redshirt freshman in 2014 before leaving the Tigers in Sept. 2015.
