Forecasters team up to track severe storms impacting the Southeast

Severe storms which could bring damaging wind, hail and the possibility of tornados are set to move through the southeastern states into Friday morning.

There is an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms in the Southeast, meaning severe weather is likely. Stay with your local weather team for the latest updates as they roll through your area.

Watch the latest stream with WKRG’s Chief Meteorologist Alan Sealls as he hosted a digital-only weather report joined by meteorologists from Nexstar stations across Alabama (WIAT), Louisiana (WVLA, KLFY), and Mississippi (WJTV).
