A man was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated twice within a 24-hour period, according to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday, October 29 at 11:30 p.m., a deputy saw a vehicle driving partially on a sidewalk on North Main Street in Shawano.
The deputy stopped the driver and conducted sobriety tests. The driver was arrested for OWI – 1st Offense and Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License.
On Friday, Oct. 30 at about 2:30 p.m., Shawano police received a report of a reckless driver on North Airport Drive.
Authorities said it was the same man stopped the previous night. He was arrested for OWI and OWL.
Officers said the suspect’s blood alcohol level following the second stop was .29.
