Police investigating reported armed robbery at Jim N’ Nicks

Hoover Police released surveillance photos of the suspects involved in the Jim N’ Nicks robbery on Feb. 3, 2019.

HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) — Police are investigating after an armed robbery was reported at Jim N’ Nick’s on Montgomery Highway Sunday night.

Witnesses told police around 9 p.m., two men entered the back door of the restaurant with their faces covered and ordered three employees to the floor at gunpoint. That’s when the suspects went into an office where they stole a safe and fled out of the back door, police say.

Both suspects were reportedly last seen getting into a grey Mercury Grand Marquis headed northbound on Montgomery Highway.

One suspect was described as wearing white hooded sweatshirt with black pants, armed with a handgun. The second suspect was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, with black and white pants and red shoes.
