Anniston PD searching for murder suspect believed to be ‘armed and dangerous’

ANNISTON, Ala. (WIAT) — The Anniston Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a suspect in a homicide investigation.

Keaton Forster Lawson, 22, was named a suspect in the shooting death of Cristum Trammell Saturday afternoon. Officers discovered Trammell, 33, lying on the roadway in the 900 block of Woodland Court suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he later died.

Lawson is considered “armed and dangerous” at this time, according to APD. If you have any information on his whereabouts, contact authorities at 256-240-4000.
