Thursday our rain chances look just a little bit better, but still the majority of us will stay dry. Flow in the upper levels will be out of the northwest while flow near the surface is more southerly. This could lead to storms firing up in the afternoon, or complexes of storms forming in the Midwest and funneling this direction. We’ll watch it closely tomorrow, but just know our rain chances look a little better for late-week.
Friday, chances for big storm complexes in the Midwest diving south into Alabama look a little more possible. It’s still too far away to tell if that will be our driving weather-maker or not. In any case, look for slightly better rain chances as we close out the week and as we start the weekend on Saturday.
