Central AL Forecast: Sunny and Bright Thursday

News

TONIGHT: As North winds prevail this evening, dew points should be dropping slightly as we head into Thursday.  Expect a clear sky tonight and warm temperatures overnight. Morning lows near average in the low 70s. Light North breeze at 3 to 5 miles per hour.

TOMORROW: More good news: the humidity won’t be quite as bad tomorrow!  A small pocket of dry air should settle over the region and dew points will drop to the mid 60s.  That’s still pretty humid, but any break from the truly oppressive humidity is always welcome.

No significant rain chances to think about either.  All of us will stay dry and still pretty hot with highs in the low 90s.  Still a bit breezy with a North wind at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

FRIDAY: Not much changes in the weather department for Friday.  The only minor change is a slightly cooler morning Friday thanks to our pocket of dry air.  Expect morning lows in the upper 60s. Of course once the sun comes out we’ll quickly heat up to highs in the mid 90s by the afternoon, so stay cool!  We’ll keep our dry streak going with no chance of rain for Friday either. Enjoy the sun!

THIS WEEKEND: Saturday is the same story, different day.  Mostly sunny and hot with no chance of rain.  Lows near 70°, highs in the mid 90s. Sunday should feature a small chance of pop-up showers at 20%, but otherwise hot and mostly sunny for Sunday too.
