TONIGHT: We may see a few lingering showers in the area through midnight, but the rain coverage will gradually dwindle into the late evening hours. Expect partly cloudy skies after midnight and lows in the low 70s.
WED-FRI: We’ll keep a consistent summer-like pattern in the forecast for the remainder of the work week. That means afternoon temperatures in the 90s, high humidity, and scattered afternoon showers and storms. Rain chances anywhere from 40% to 60% each day.
THIS WEEKEND: The rain coverage is expected to turn even more widespread this weekend for both Saturday and Sunday. It may also not be confined to just the afternoon as well. We’ll have to take the forecast one day at a time to know for sure where storms are more likely to pop up, but above all, expect plenty of rain this week.
TROPICS: We have a tropical storm. TS Chantal. Luckily, it’s already been scooped up by the jet stream and is being carried out to sea. So, regardless of development, it will not bring any impacts to land.
