BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A Birmingham police officer has been arrested on felony charges including computer tampering.

Zarion Quanshay Brison-Headen was charged with four counts of computer tampering. He was accused of illegally using the Law Enforcement Tactical System (LETS) and accessing personal information, according to the investigation by Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

LETS is a secure web-based search engine that simultaneously searches many Alabama state databases with one query. This tool was developed to aid law enforcement by providing them with critical information at the roadside – including vehicle, driver, and violation data.
