TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Alabama Athletics) – Alabama football remained indoors for a second straight day, putting in two hours of work under the roof of the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility. The Crimson Tide practiced in full pads once again as the team continues preparations for Monday’s national title game.

Alabama’s Thursday practice was the third of six consecutive days of work before Monday’s 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The Crimson Tide will match up with second-ranked Clemson at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., with the game scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff. ESPN will broadcast the game with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit in the booth along with Tom Rinaldi and Maria Taylor on the sidelines.

Monday’s game will be the 19th all-time meeting between Alabama and Clemson and the fourth consecutive pairing in the College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide holds a 14-4 lead in the series with a 2-1 mark in the Playoff. The two teams met last season in 2018 CFP Semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, La., with UA securing a 24-6 win over Clemson inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Jan. 1.
