SAN JOSE, Calif. (WIAT) — Fans who made the trek to the West coast have been dealing with rainy conditions in the Bay Area.
This unideal weather condition is not stopping fans though, many of them say they are going to enjoy another Fan Fest Day. On the other hand, many locals say they have been praying for rain, but didn’t know this is when it would hit.
“It never rains here,” Bay Area resident, Nicole Wagner, said. “We’ve been praying for rain because we’ve been in a drought and of course when it rains it’s the National Championship.”
Visiting fans are not letting the rain stop them though. Many are still visiting the various tourist attractions the Bay Area has to offer.
“Rain rain rain – supposed to clear up by tomorrow,” Alabama fans, Austin and Susan King, said, “but it’s been gorgeous here. We’ve been to wine country, red roads, it’s a beautiful part of the country.”
Both Clemson and Alabama fans tell CBS 42 they’re just excited for the big game, never mind the weather.
