BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Happening April 22-24, it’s your chance to find your new favorite artist right here in the Magic City. The Magic City Art Connection is back for its 33rd year this upcoming weekend.
The festival showcases artists from all over the country. There are also several different kinds of art you’ll see on display during MCAC, from live music and dance to interactive workshops for children.
“Find Art” is the slogan but that’s not the only thing you’ll discover. Corks & Chefs is back at the festival this year for food lovers. The tasting event offers sample dishes from 8-10 restaurants each day with wine, craft beer, and spirits to taste as well.
MCAC is held in Linn Park. Admission is $5 but children 12 and under are free. There is a Friday lunchtime special as well that drops the admission price to just $1 from 11am-2pm.
The festival runs from 10am-6pm Friday and Saturday. Sunday’s hours are 10am-5pm. For more information, click here.
