15-year-old girl dead after being struck by car in Anniston

ANNISTON, Ala. (WIAT) — UPDATE: Family has identified the 15 year-old girl as Jovannah Williams. She died after being involved in a car crash in Anniston Tuesday night.

“I’m just going to miss my baby, man. I’m just going to miss her,” said Jovannah’s father, Jovan Williams.

ORIGINAL: A 15-year-old girl has died after being involved in a car crash in Anniston. The crash took place near Noble Street and West Blue Mountain Road around 7:20 p.m.

The 15-year-old hit and killed was with a group of about five or six kids. Surveillance video shows them leaving the Dollar General at 7:04 p.m.
