IRONDALE, Ala. (WIAT) — UPDATE: The victim has been identified.
One person is dead following a single-vehicle accident in Irondale Friday afternoon.
According to Irondale Assistant Fire Chief Brad Doss, the car did catch fire during the accident. The incident occurred in the 2900 block of Crestwood Blvd.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
