Reshad Hudson

Reshad joined the team in March 2018 as a state capitol reporter. He will be based in Montgomery, where decisions are being made by lawmakers that could have an impact on your life. Reshad will report for Alabama Nexstar stations (CBS 42, WKRG, WRBL, WDHN, WZDX) He is a native of Alabaster, Alabama and he previously worked at WBRC as a Multimedia Journalist. Before that, he worked as a Multimedia Journalist at WDHN in Dothan, Alabama. During his career he has covered local, state and national political leaders. He has also covered the removal of a speaker of the house, governor and chief justice of the Alabama supreme court. 

Reshad is a graduate of The University of Alabama, with degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. While in college Reshad was a member of The University of Alabama's marching band, famously known as the Million Dollar Band. As a member of the band, Reshad got an up-close seat to history, with the Crimson Tide going to back to back national championships in New Orleans and Miami. 

In his spare time, he likes to travel, try new restaurants and spend time with friends and family.
