Central Alabama Forecast: Scattered storms on Sunday

SUNDAY: Expect a classic Alabama summer day for tomorrow…isolated pop-up showers in the heat of the day along with a mix of sun & clouds.  Rain chance at 30%, highs near the 90° mark.

FIRST HALF OF THE WEEK: The forecast repeats itself on Monday…another summer day with isolated showers and temps in the 90s.  Some changes are in store for Tuesday, however…we’re anticipating a COLD FRONT to pass through! The front will bring more steady rain early Tuesday and drier air by Tuesday afternoon.

While it won’t dramatically drop temperatures as much as it would in the fall or winter, it will be noticeably not as hot starting on Wednesday.

SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK: The cooler, drier air will stick around Wednesday through Friday, so expect mostly sunshine for the second half of the week along with cooler temperatures at night & in the morning.  Lows expected in the low to mid 60s, highs in the mid 80s.
