Tracking the Tropics

More Tracking the Tropics

Our weather has really changed for the better thanks to a cold front that tracked through the area. This is shifting our winds out of the north, northwest and that’s pulling in drier, more comfortable air.

That drop in humidity will lead to some cooler temperatures tomorrow morning. Expect spots to drop to the mid and low 60s Thursday morning..a little cooler-than-average for this time of year. Highs will rebound Thursday afternoon, jumping into the low 90s with lots of sunshine and low humidity. More of the same for Friday; low humidity, cool morning lows and warm afternoon highs.

This weekend looks like a bit of a mixed bag. Moisture will increase as winds become more easterly. This won’t lead to any rain chances on Saturday, just a little bit more humidity in the air for the first part of the weekend. Sunday, a few showers and storms will be possible as moisture from Tropical Storm Dorian approaches Florida. Right now, no direct impacts are expected from this, but it bears watching into next week.
