2 Carbon Hill city council members resign following anti-LGBTQ comments from mayor

CARBON HILL, Ala. (WIAT) — Two Carbon Hill city council members have resigned from their positions.

McClain Burrough and Chandler Gann submitted their letters of resignation to the city.

These resignations come after Mayor Mark Chambers’ controversial comments regarding the LGBTQ community.
