One Class at a Time: Erwin Intermediate School

One Class at a Time

CENTER POINT, Ala. (WIAT) — One Center Point school librarian is this week’s One Class at a Time grant recipient.

Heather Negley officially serves as the library media specialist at Erwin Middle School, in addition to being the school’s TV news producer, and the robotics team coach.

Negley is planning to use the grant to make some upgrades to their studio. She says she plans to use the $1,000 to make the school’s news broadcasts look more professional.

“We are going to be getting a green screen so we’ll have green screen technology,” Negley said. “And probably something to do with sound, maybe a soundboard so that the kids will sound more professional.

Negley also told our team that she hopes to you the money to assist the robotics team’s efforts as well.
