Staffmark Alabama out of Hoover is hiring second shift shipping associates for a key products distributor in McCalla. The pay rate for this temp-to-hire position is $16 per hour and according to a Facebook post, some overtime is possible. The current schedule is Monday-Friday, 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., with a half-day on Saturday. You will need to be comfortable with some heavy lifting. Mueller is holding a job fair on Wednesday, October 20 in Albertville. It will be held at the Albertville Career Center. Organizers say the job fair will hold on-site interviews. Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is opening a second location in Hoover in December. The restaurant is looking for up to 200 local teammates for all positions, including chefs, servers, hosts, bartenders, and bussers.
