This week we are sharing our final Latasha Toney update before our finale in May!
Soon we will find out which team will take home the $10,000 grand prize. No matter what happens, LaTasha says she has become very empowered during her eCO Savings Race journey.
“I think it’s really cool to see someone in the race that’s an individual. And she has accomplished so much by herself but also with accountability partners and friends and her family,” coach Georgia Hux said. “Now she has sinking funds established. So, some of the larger debt she has, she has planned to pay off in the next few years. I think the future just looks a lot brighter for Latasha because she knows that there is an end in sight to debt and savings.”
“It feels great to have paid off debt and to have saved money as part of this race as a single woman. I feel like if I actually do get married one day I will have a foundation to work from,” LaTasha said. “Having a plan as part of this eCO savings race, it helps to keep me focused. I sleep better at night and I don’t have all that credit card debt that is a wonderful feeling to not have credit card debt. I have my eyes on the prize of paying off this debt and building up my savings. I feel like I’m in control of my finances now.”
eCO Takeaway Tip:
If you are single or manage your finances on your own, it can be easy to overlook areas where you might be overspending. An extra set of eyes can help you develop a plan to meet your financial goals and help point out areas of waste. Want someone to help you get started? Stop by any eCO branch to discuss a plan for your finances and to receive a free loan review.
