BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Realtors Association is partnering with St. Paul Ame Church to try to fight child hunger, and they’re doing it with backpacks.
The program is called Backpack Buddies, and people are able to donate kid-friendly food to students that may struggle to have food on the weekends.
Some food people can donate includes macaroni and cheese, breakfast bars and juice bars.
