Warming stations in Central Alabama open for shelter from winter weather

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Warming stations in Etowah County, Anniston and Birmingham are opening Thursday for shelter from winter weather.

BIRMINGHAM

BJCC: 2100 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. South Exhibition Hall

Thursday 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. and Friday 5 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The Salvation Army

Men: 2015 26th Ave. North and 626 Second Ave. North

Women: First Light at 2230 Fourth Ave. North.
