Michael joined CBS 42 News in March 2017 as a reporter.

He’s thrilled to be closer to family and friends in his hometown of Marietta, Georgia.

Recently, Michael followed the 2016 Presidential Election in the Carolinas; covering stops from Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and other major candidates.

Michael has also had the task of covering tragedies like the mass shooting at Charleston’s Mother Emanuel AME Church, along with cleanups from various tornadoes and hurricanes across the country. He considers it a privilege to be entrusted with people’s stories in all circumstances and understands the responsibility that comes with it.

As a one-man band reporter, Michael enjoys the ability to shoot, edit, write and present stories each day.

In his downtime, Michael likes fishing and being outdoors with his Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Caesar.

During football season, you’ll find him cheering for Ole Miss, where he graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism.

During his reporting career, Michael has made stops in Charlotte, Memphis, and Lubbock.
