
Lillian Lalo is a Birmingham native and the co-anchor of the CBS 42 Morning News each weekday from 4:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Lalo was born and raised in Birmingham. She has over a decade of journalism experience and is a familiar face at CBS 42. She joined the newsroom as a general assignment reporter in 2014. Since then, she has contributed in a variety of roles across all CBS 42 platforms.
Before joining CBS 42, she worked as a general assignment reporter for WAAY-TV in Huntsville.
Lalo graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. She also holds a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.
Since late 2021, Lalo has served on the CBS 42 Morning News team as a traffic anchor and host of ‘Morning Talk’, a segment featuring trending stories from CBS42.com.
Lillian supports numerous local organizations and non-profits through emcee work for fundraising events and community functions. Her work for CBS 42’s Living Local initiative has fostered strong community partnerships with local businesses and charity organizations.
