Leigh joined CBS 42 in June 2010 as the Tuscaloosa bureau reporter. She’s a Birmingham native and graduated from the University of Alabama with degrees in English and Broadcast News. Before joining the CBS 42 News team, Leigh worked as a reporter/photographer at WVUA-TV in Tuscaloosa where she was able to cover the Crimson Tide’s national championship season, two years of the Tuscaloosa Airshow, and lots of other exciting events. She jumped right into the mix at CBS 42 covering the Bentley campaign for governor and the bingo controversy at Greenetrack as well as daily coverage of Tuscaloosa and western Alabama. She played a critical role in CBS 42’s award-winning coverage of the April 2012 tornados. Leigh joined the CBS 42 Morning News team as co-anchor in 2018.
When she’s not working, Leigh loves watching Alabama football (Roll Tide!) and spending time with her family and friends.
