Jake Chapman joined the CBS 42 team in September 2020 as a reporter. He is excited to be in Birmingham.
Jake has worked in various news positions throughout his career. He started as a production assistant at the FOX affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee, where he transitioned into a photographer role in an attempt to get out “in the field.” He then moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee to work for the local NBC affiliate. He’s worked the past two years as a reporter, covering breaking news stories like protests over police brutality and investigation pieces on local government and health care.
When he’s not talking about news, he’ll talk your head off about sports—especially college football.
