Chris joined the CBS 42 team as sports director in July 2015.
This is not his first time covering SEC sports, however. Chris was the sports director at the CBS affiliate, KFSM in Fayetteville/ Fort Smith, Arkansas for three years. Along with following the Razorbacks on football road trips, Chris traveled with Arkansas in the 2015 NCAA basketball tournament as well as the baseball team’s trip to the College World Series in 2015.
Before arriving in SEC country Chris spent two years as the weekend sports anchor/ weekday sports reporter at KDRV in Medford, Oregon.
Chris was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. He continued his education with a Master’s in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Southern California.
Chris has been an avid college football fan his entire life but also enjoys other sports.
While in college Chris interned at the Golf Channel in Orlando. That job landed him a gig as an on-course spotter for CBS Sports traveling around the country for their golf coverage.
