Addie Weaver joined the CBS42 team in October of 2020.
Addie is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and a recent graduate of the University of Alabama. She graduated with a degree in Sports News Media and a minor in communication studies.
During her time in Tuscaloosa, Addie worked as a sideline reporter for SEC Network+ and as a reporter with Crimson Tide Productions in Bryant Denny Stadium.
Her favorite memory over the course of her time at UA was beating Georgia to win the National Championship her freshman year.
Addie is excited about staying in the south and making Birmingham her new home. You can catch Addie going to Orange Theory, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family. Addie is a big advocate for rescuing animals and even has a rescue mutt of her own, Dak (Go Boys). She encourages everyone to adopt, don’t shop!
