BIRMINGHAM, AL - Former Auburn Tiger head coach Tommy Tuberville was the key note speaker at the A.G. Gaston Boys and Girls Club fundraiser Tuesday night, held at the Birmingham Harbert Center.
Before the banquet, Tuberville got the chance to speak with about 40 young football players from the organization. While the coach was the main speaker, the bigger hit was former Auburn linebacker Reggie Torbor and his broken finger.
Torbor, a linebacker with the Miami Dolphins, was also missing one of his most prized possessions; his Super Bowl ring. Torbor was a member of the New York Giants when they upset the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. He explained that he doesn't wear it, but keeps it in a safe.
