Birmingham, AL(WIAT) One of the nations top prospects Hueytown quarterback Jameis Winston didn't waste much time Friday morning before he had pen to paper signing with the Florida State Seminoles.

as a BAMA fan i sure wish we could've gotten Jameis to Tuscaloosa, but i have to say after watching that video, he seems like a great kid, good leader, and its pretty clear that while he respects BAMA, FSU was the place he really wants to be....good for him for taking this all with such maturity and level headedness, i think some quotes from him have been taken outta context cuz he doesnt seem arrogant at all....best of luck Jameis!! yall have a great team coming in, not the #1 class, but im sure we'll hear some noise from them in the future....ROLL TIDE!!
