Flames assign Lundmark and Stuart to AHL

The Calgary Flames assigned forwards Jamie Lundmark and Colin Stuart to Abbotsford of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.

Lundmark is a five-year veteran of the NHL had eight goals and eight assists in 27 games last season for the Flames.

Stuart spent last season, his second in the league, with the Atlanta Thrashers and picked up five goals and three assists in 33 games.

Calgary opens its regular season at home on Thursday against Vancouver.
