BIRMINGHAM, AL - CBS42 has learned that Parker standout guard Eric Bledsoe is set to visit the Memphis campus on Thursday.
Bledsoe is a 5-star point guard according to Rivals.com. He has interest in Florida, Alabama, Cincinnati and Kentucky according to that website.
Ex-Memphis head coach and current Kentucky coach John Calipari is also in hot pursuit of Bledsoe. Josh Pastner, Calipari's replacement at Memphis, is said to have heated up the pursuit of Bledsoe in recent weeks. He was one of Bledsoe's main recruiters before Calipari left to Lexington.
Bledsoe won the Class 5A Player of the Year award for the state of Alabama and led his Thundering Herd team to the finals of the state playoffs.
