BIRMINGHAM, AL (WIAT)- Former Expos & Cubs Outfielder Andre Dawson was a part of the American Baseball Foundation's Lead Off Dinner Friday night in Birmingham.
Dawson granted CBS42 an exclusive interview before speaking to the crowd. Among the topics was his current job as Special Assistant to the President for the Miami Marlins, his delayed election to the Baseball Hall of Fame & his thoughts on his friend and former teammate Gary Carter's battle with cancer.
