TUSCALOOSA,AL.(WIAT)- Alabama got in their second scrimmage of fall camp at Braynt-Denny Stadium on Saturday. Nick Saban wasn't as pleased with his team as he was in the first one but did see some guys stand out. Once again Amari Cooper didn't participate in practice as he's still healing from a foot strain suffered a week ago. TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama football team held its second scrimmage of fall training camp on Saturday afternoon inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The scrimmage lasted roughly 140 plays and was just over two hours in overcast and fair conditions. The Crimson Tide will have Sunday and Monday off before returning for its last week on training camp on Tuesday.
Senior quarterback AJ McCarron led the offense with 152 yards and a touchdown. Junior Christion Jones led the Tide receivers with 37 yards on four catches while sophomore Dee Hart paced the rushing attack with 42 yards on seven carries.
Junior linebacker Adrian Hubbard recorded seven tackles and tallied three sacks while senior defensive back John Fulton had six tackles and half a sack. Senior linebacker C.J. Mosley chipped in five tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
