BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Samford football coach Pat Sullivan has
added three major college transfers to the roster.
The Bulldogs have signed quarterback Matt Malouf from the
University of Memphis, along with Clemson receiver Jeff Ogren and
LSU tight end J.D. Lott.
Malouf will join a crowded race for the starting job at
quarterback.
He played in 12 games for Memphis as a redshirt freshman last
season.
Ogren and Lott are both Alabama natives. Ogren played in four
games last season while Lott was a scout team player for national
champion LSU.
